Walking aimlessly in the centre of town on my first evening in Zagreb, I followed the sounds of a conversation in Farsi and met Shadi and Arash, a young Iranian couple on a Balkan vacation with a group of 140 Iranian tourists. They were as surprised to find out that I was not taking part in their organized tour as I was to discover that they were not asylum seekers but vacationers. We had a super interesting conversation as it turned out that Arash runs an art gallery in Tehran. I now have an invitation to exhibit On the Move there. And maybe I’ll get to do just that.
